Chief Executive Officer, Vice President and Secretary
As co-owner and CEO of OptiMed Health Partners since 1994, Andy Reeves, RPh, has devoted his career to providing exceptional patient-centered care. His value-based team approach focuses on building effective and efficient healthcare models that promote the pharmacist’s role as part of the healthcare team to demonstrate how they can help positively impact treatment success and lower healthcare costs.
In addition, Andy was instrumental in incorporating pharmacogenetic testing into outpatient treatment and created models that included a pharmacist’s interpretation of lab results to better understand patient medication profiles and potential drug interactions.
The Michigan Pharmacists Association recently recognized his “out-of-the-box” approach by honoring Andy with the prestigious Excellence in Innovation award. This award recognizes those industry innovators who are striving to provide exceptional outcome-based, patient-centered care; deliver innovative practices that increase medication adherence and enhance disease management; and re-energize the profession to meet the healthcare needs of tomorrow’s patients.

Steve Trebing, RPh
Vice President, Industry Relations & Business Development
Steve Trebing, RPh, serves as Vice President of Industry Relations & Business Development. Steve brings over 35 years of pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and diagnostics sales experience to OptiMed. His background includes retail pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical sales and marketing, and diagnostic business experience. He previously served in a leadership role with Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Phadia), where he was responsible for sales and sales support functions, marketing, business development, customer service and training and development. His diverse education and background will help OptiMed establish business partnerships and advance strategic initiatives. Steve received a Bachelors in Pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in Missouri.
Jessica Ninke, PharmD
Dr. Jessica Ninke started with OptiMed Specialty Pharmacy in 2013 as a Clinical Pharmacist prior to being promoted to Pharmacy Director in May 2015. In this capacity, she manages the pharmacy staff, oversees specialty pharmacy operations, and supervises the delivery of care to OptiMed’s specialty patients. She is also the co-chair of the organization's Quality Management Committee. Dr. Ninke earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy with Highest Distinction from Ferris State University and subsequently completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency at Saint Mary’s Health Care in Grand Rapids, MI. She is a member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association and the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy and serves as adjunct clinical faculty for the Ferris State University College of Pharmacy.
Stephanie Klepser, PharmD
Dr. Stephanie Klepser has served as the Clinical Director at OptiMed Specialty Pharmacy since 2010. She is responsible for developing and overseeing all of OptiMed’s clinical programs and services. Dr. Klepser also directs the clinical education and training of pharmacy staff and co-chairs the organization’s Quality Management Committee. Dr. Klepser received her Doctorate of Pharmacy with Highest Distinction from Ferris State University and went on to complete an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. She currently sits on the executive board for the Michigan Pharmacists Association and is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy, and the International Society for Travel Medicine. She also serves as adjunct clinical faculty for the Ferris State University College of Pharmacy.
Human Resources Director
Theodore (Ted) Rafferty was named the Human Resources Director in 2015. Ted is responsible for all human resources policies, practices, planning and activities, including talent acquisition, talent development, and benefits administration. Ted started with OptiMed Specialty Pharmacy in 2014 as the Operations Director prior to being promoted to his current position.
Ted received a Bachelors in Human Resources Management from Western Michigan University and has over 12 years of experience in a variety of roles related to business operations, management, and customer service.
Corporate Relations & Contracting Manager
Rusti Greis is the Corporate Relations & Contracting Manager at OptiMed Specialty Pharmacy. She is responsible for developing, assisting with and overseeing efforts as they relate to contracting, quality, infusion coordination, compliance medical/pharmacy billing and financial reconciliation.
She has over 10 years of experience in medical billing and care coordination.
Kevin Stuart began as the Finance Manager for OptiMed Specialty Pharmacy in October 2016.
Coming to the organization with a diverse background in finance and analytics, he is responsible for overseeing all fiscal operations and strategy for the company.
Kevin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and he will complete his Master’s in Business Administration through Amberton University in the fall of 2018. He has over 25 years of professional experience including expertise in accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting. Kevin also served for four years in the US Navy, and was awarded the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist medal while deployed overseas in Rota, Spain as a Cryptologic Technician.
Kate Rizor is the Marketing Manager at OptiMed Specialty Pharmacy. She is responsible for creating, developing and implementing the marketing and business development strategic goals to support OptiMed’s overall strategic plan. The role involves planning and implementing marketing and business development strategies targeted toward existing and new markets to ultimately strengthen the company’s market presence. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and has 20+ years of experience in marketing, communications and business development.
